Who's Online

I have received two photographs from Darren of Belper, who was given these pictures when he owned the cafe in the Bus Station. They show fascinating views of Trent Motor Tractions Booking Office in 1961 and 1962 respectively.

One poster advertises the company’s service to Skegness. It describes this Lincolnshire resort as being ‘So Bracing’ and offers a return fare of 21 shillings (£1.05 pence in todays money). Perhaps the young girl and her mother are booking such a trip.
How life has changed.
